Topping 4-8’ tall stems in mid to late summer are narrow, branched 9” spikes of white flowers that are reminiscent of a candelabra. Lance-shaped leaves grow in whorls around the tall stems. Plant at the back of the mixed perennial border with a woodland or wall as a backdrop for the unique white flowers. Native to moist prairies, woods and stream banks of Eastern North America. Plant 36” apart.
