This native cultivar will brighten up the shade garden with its glowing yellow leaves streaked with green. The dainty lilac-mauve flowers are a nice addition in May-June as they float above the 6-12" tall, variegated foliage. Polemonium pulcherrima is native to dry rocky slopes of the higher elevations of the western U.S. Provide 'Golden Feathers' with humus-rich, well-drained soil and afternoon shade in warmer regions.
