This central and southern U.S native beebalm will be a welcome addition to the mid-Atlantic garden with its mildew-resistance and clumping (non-spreading) habit. Light pink, purple-spotted blooms appear in late spring to summer drawing hummingbirds and butterflies to the tubular flowers. Fragrant, low-growing, loosely upright foliage is gray-green and grows 12-24” tall. Prefers average, well-drained soil.
