The U.S. National Arboretum developed this dwarf hybrid over several years and introduced it in the new millennium. 'Pocomoke' has an upright and spreading habit, remaining under 2' for the first several years. Mature height is 5' tall and wide. Deep rose-pink flowers bloom in mid-summer to fall above dark glossy green foliage that turns bronze-red in fall. Plant 4' apart.
