The reddish-purple leaves are larger than those of our other Hypericum, and at 3', this round, bushy semi-evergreen plant can serve as a distinctive border shrub, as a hedge, or even as an effective ground cover for a large area. The clusters of small yellow flowers in early summer are a good contrast to the leaves.
