Ivy (Hedera Helix)

As a groundcover ivy will choke out weeds and provide glossy deep green cover year round. Foliage grows 12" high. Vigorous as a climber of walls or other upright structures, it can eventually reach up to 100'. 2" to 4" leaves are dark green with white veins. Provide partial shade and protection from winter damaging winds. Due to its aggressive nature, take care to avoid planting near unmanaged woodlands or other sensitive areas. Plant 6-12" apart.
