Stunning violet-blue flowers with lavender-blue spiny bracts and upper stems offer unique texture and color in the garden, or as cut flowers. For more intense flower color, plant in full sun and in regions with cooler nights. The 18-24” tall upright, thistle-like foliage grows best in average to poor soil and is drought tolerant once established. Plant 18” apart.
