Lanceleaf tickseed (Coreopsis lanceolata)

A good choice for wildflower meadows and roadside plantings where the 2-3’ tall upright stems topped with single golden yellow flowers can mingle with other meadow grasses and perennials.  Beneficial pollinators are attracted to the summer-blooming flowers.  This tickseed will re-seed in the garden.  Thrives in poor soils and is drought tolerant.  Plant 24" apart.
