Chrysogonum virginianum var. australe (Green and Gold)

A delightful, low growing, native groundcover with semi-evergreen foliage and yellow star shaped flowers in late spring, continuing sporadically through the summer. Rosettes of leaves spread primarily stoloniferously forming dense 3-4" mats of soft green foliage. Flowering stems rise above the foliage mat to a full height of 8-10". Perfect for shade garden or a naturalized woodland area. Plant 12" apart.
