Pennsylvania Sedge grows in dry to moist woods in the mountains from West Virginia to Alabama and Georgia. It forms soft, grass-like, 15" clumps of very narrow, bright green leaves. The clumps spread rather quickly and are very soft and curl gently turning pale brown for the winter. Use this in masses to soften and brighten a damp shady area. It would work very nicely with Blue Phlox, ferns and White Wood Aster.
