This vigorous native vine grows to 30-40' over several years and is best planted near a wall, trellis, fence or arbor. Bright reddish-orange tubular flowers have orange throats appear in terminal clusters and are a favorite among hummingbirds. Blooms begin to appear in mid-summer and continue through late summer. Very adaptable to a variety of soil types. Plant 8' apart.
