Aptly named. Literally clouds of tiny white flowers keep this tough perennial working well throughout our hot, humid summertime. An important "workhorse" of a perennial with enough attributes to give it "thoroughbred" status in the gardening world. Calamintha has small minty fragrant leaves, blooms from June through September, on upright stems to 18", and flourishes in our notoriously humid summer weather. Give it the well-drained soil it prefers. Use it in the rock garden or border where you need white to separate bright colors or blend with pastels.
