This pollinator magnet has anise-scented foliage and lavender-blue to violet flower spikes in July through September. It thrives in well-drained loam or sandy soil and is exceptionally deer and rabbit resistant. Native to the North East and Central U.S. The 3-5' tall foliage and flower combines well with coneflower, black-eyed susan, and little and big bluestem. Plant 36" apart.
