'Katy Mendez' brings a bold presence to the garden with deep violet flowers on 34-38" tall stems in late spring to early summer. The violet-purple falls have narrow white edges and patches of yellow near the center. This fantastic cut flower grows best in moist locations with full sun and prefers its roots to be shaded by other perennials. Plant 24" apart.
