This spectacular native is a delight to hummingbirds and quite showy when massed at the woodlands edge. À˜Little RedheadÀ℠is an excellent uniform selection with the trademark dark red tubular flowers with yellow interiors in late spring to mid-summer. Late to emerge in spring. Prefers consistent moisture and requires well-drained soil. Plant 24" apart. Grows 24-28À tall.
