The compact, mounded foliage showcases deep purple flowers in September-October, hosting many late season pollinators. Fine-textured foliage with narrow leaves grow 30-36" tall and wide, remaining sturdy through the season. This hybrid of Vernonia lettermannii and V. angustifolia 'Plum Peachy' enjoys moist well-drained soil and is somewhat drought tolerant Plant 36" apart. PP# 28556

We carefully schedule shipments to ensure your plants spend as little time in transit as possible. Most orders ship via UPS Monday through Wednesday, directly from our greenhouses. For nearby destinations, we may occasionally ship Thursday or Friday when delivery is expected before the weekend. Orders that would otherwise remain in transit over the weekend will be held until the following shipping week.

Each plant is carefully wrapped in protective brown paper and packed with excelsior wood wool, a biodegradable material made from thin fibers of aspen wood. This eco-friendly packaging helps keep your plants secure during transit while being kind to the environment.
