Vibrant rose-pink, long-lasting, tubular flowers cover the top half of the compact foliage in late spring to early summer. A light trim after the first flush of flowers will promote a second bloom. At 12” tall, Rock Candy® fits right in at the front of the border or in containers. Native to the mesas and mountains of the Southwestern U.S., P. barbatus prefers well-drained soil and full sun. Plant 12” apart.
Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun
USDA Hardiness Zones: 5-8
We can not ship to following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA and HI. Plants will be in seasonal condition with appropriate foliage.
We carefully schedule shipments to ensure your plants spend as little time in transit as possible. Most orders ship via UPS Monday through Wednesday, directly from our greenhouses. For nearby destinations, we may occasionally ship Thursday or Friday when delivery is expected before the weekend. Orders that would otherwise remain in transit over the weekend will be held until the following shipping week.
Each plant is carefully wrapped in protective brown paper and packed with excelsior wood wool, a biodegradable material made from thin fibers of aspen wood. This eco-friendly packaging helps keep your plants secure during transit while being kind to the environment.
