As delicate as can be, this Maidenhair Fern is easy to grow with fan-shaped, swirling pinules to a height of 18". The light green leaves have shiny dark stems and prefer rich moist soil in light to full shade. Don't let this deciduous native dry out. Try it with Columbines, Old-fashioned Bleeding Hearts, a masculine Rodgersia and the leathery Bergenia for interesting textures in the woodland garden.

We carefully schedule shipments to ensure your plants spend as little time in transit as possible. Most orders ship via UPS Monday through Wednesday, directly from our greenhouses. For nearby destinations, we may occasionally ship Thursday or Friday when delivery is expected before the weekend. Orders that would otherwise remain in transit over the weekend will be held until the following shipping week.
Each plant is carefully wrapped in protective brown paper and packed with excelsior wood wool, a biodegradable material made from thin fibers of aspen wood. This eco-friendly packaging helps keep your plants secure during transit while being kind to the environment.
