Robust and stately spikes rise to 4' in mid-summer above semi-evergreen dark green glossy foliage. The spikes are easily identified by two-lipped white flowers with spiny dark purple bracts. Prized for its architectural form, deer resistance and long-lasting cut flowers. Place in a sheltered spot in the garden for protection from mid-Atlantic winters. Plant 36" apart.
