As a bold accent in groups or in the border, evergreen Yucca is unsurpassed. The sword-like blue-green leaves of this native, with thin curling threads on the leaf margins, are 3-4' high and are of interest all year long. In July and August, very showy and fragrant, creamy-white, bell-shaped flower spikes rise on stiff stems to 5-6'. Sun and drought tolerant, its foliage is a great contrast to a host of finer-textured plants. Plant 2" apart.
Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun
USDA Hardiness Zones: 5-9
We can not ship to following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA and HI. Plants will be in seasonal condition with appropriate foliage.
We carefully schedule shipments to ensure your plants spend as little time in transit as possible. Most orders ship via UPS Monday through Wednesday, directly from our greenhouses. For nearby destinations, we may occasionally ship Thursday or Friday when delivery is expected before the weekend. Orders that would otherwise remain in transit over the weekend will be held until the following shipping week.
Each plant is carefully wrapped in protective brown paper and packed with excelsior wood wool, a biodegradable material made from thin fibers of aspen wood. This eco-friendly packaging helps keep your plants secure during transit while being kind to the environment.
