Here's a bold and exciting native plant that's perfect at the edge of your pond or stream. It has huge powder blue leaves 2-3' tall from which flower spikes appear to 5-6' in June and July with large deep yellow coneflowers. Blooming into September, it prefers deep, moist soil, but will thrive in average garden conditions as long as it is kept moist. Maxima makes quite a statement.

We carefully schedule shipments to ensure your plants spend as little time in transit as possible. Most orders ship via UPS Monday through Wednesday, directly from our greenhouses. For nearby destinations, we may occasionally ship Thursday or Friday when delivery is expected before the weekend. Orders that would otherwise remain in transit over the weekend will be held until the following shipping week.

Each plant is carefully wrapped in protective brown paper and packed with excelsior wood wool, a biodegradable material made from thin fibers of aspen wood. This eco-friendly packaging helps keep your plants secure during transit while being kind to the environment.
