This compact form of Caryopteris has deep inky-blue buds that open to large cobalt-blue flowers, which are profuse on erect stems from late August to early October. Best of all, the rounded compact habit means 'First Choice' requires little pruning and won't have the floppy habit some cultivars exhibit. Pest and disease-free, it reaches about 36" at maturity. PP#11958.

Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun

USDA Hardiness Zones: 5-9

We can not ship to following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA and HI. Plants will be in seasonal condition with appropriate foliage.

We carefully schedule shipments to ensure your plants spend as little time in transit as possible. Most orders ship via UPS Monday through Wednesday, directly from our greenhouses. For nearby destinations, we may occasionally ship Thursday or Friday when delivery is expected before the weekend. Orders that would otherwise remain in transit over the weekend will be held until the following shipping week.

Each plant is carefully wrapped in protective brown paper and packed with excelsior wood wool, a biodegradable material made from thin fibers of aspen wood. This eco-friendly packaging helps keep your plants secure during transit while being kind to the environment.

Plant came exactly as described, and in beautiful condition. Everything was packaged well that no damage at all could have occurred during shipping! I've had it in the ground for about a month now, and it's growing beautifully. Can't wait to see it bloom!
