With blooming periods from frost-to-frost, this Armeria is perfect within a garden container or as a pop of color in the garden. Dead head once a month for best blooming performance and with low water consumption this plant makes gardening a breeze. Deep purple flowers pop above dark green foliage about 10-12" in height that attract butterflies and are very heat tolerant. It is best to avoid moist, fertile, or heavy clay soils. Salt tolerant. We carefully schedule shipments to ensure your plants spend as little time in transit as possible. Most orders ship via UPS Monday through Wednesday, directly from our greenhouses. For nearby destinations, we may occasionally ship Thursday or Friday when delivery is expected before the weekend. Orders that would otherwise remain in transit over the weekend will be held until the following shipping week.
Each plant is carefully wrapped in protective brown paper and packed with excelsior wood wool, a biodegradable material made from thin fibers of aspen wood. This eco-friendly packaging helps keep your plants secure during transit while being kind to the environment.
