Things are heating up in the world of Coreopsis with this new introduction from famed hybridizer Darrell Probst. Deep burgundy-red velvety petals surround a yellow center on blooms that begin in early summer and continue to fall. Cold hardiness and the red flower color are attributed to the C. rosea parentage. In cool temperatures of fall the flowers may be streaked with creamy white for added appeal. Grows to 15-18" and will spread up to 3'. PP#24689
