The lilac-pink flowers of this native cultivar are a bit pinker and appear earlier in spring than the species. 20" tall foliage has deeply dissected leaves and prefers moist, well-drained soil, and will tolerate full sun if kept moist. Plants may go dormant in summer so group with native Carex, ferns and late season perennials such as Asters.
Sunlight Requirements: Partial Shade to Full Shade
USDA Hardiness Zones: 4-8
We can not ship to following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA and HI. Plants will be in seasonal condition with appropriate foliage.
We carefully schedule shipments to ensure your plants spend as little time in transit as possible. Most orders ship via UPS Monday through Wednesday, directly from our greenhouses. For nearby destinations, we may occasionally ship Thursday or Friday when delivery is expected before the weekend. Orders that would otherwise remain in transit over the weekend will be held until the following shipping week.
Each plant is carefully wrapped in protective brown paper and packed with excelsior wood wool, a biodegradable material made from thin fibers of aspen wood. This eco-friendly packaging helps keep your plants secure during transit while being kind to the environment.
