Dark green tufted narrow foliage is accompanied in June by striking inflorescences that produce an airy mass of golden yellow flowers. Decorative seed heads remain into winter on this cool season clump grower. Grows 1-2' tall. Prefers humus-rich, moist and well-drained soil. Plant 24" apart.
