Dainty orange-copper flowers appear in mid to late spring just above the 8-10" tall foliage. The new heart-shaped leaves in spring are pale green with a red tinge, transforming to solid green in summer and bronze-red in fall. Perfect for dry shade, use as a ground cover along pathways or around and under evergreen shrubs and trees. Slow to spread but well worth the wait!
Sunlight Requirements: Partial Shade to Full Shade
USDA Hardiness Zones: 4-8
We can not ship to following states: AK, AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA and HI. Plants will be in seasonal condition with appropriate foliage.
We carefully schedule shipments to ensure your plants spend as little time in transit as possible. Most orders ship via UPS Monday through Wednesday, directly from our greenhouses. For nearby destinations, we may occasionally ship Thursday or Friday when delivery is expected before the weekend. Orders that would otherwise remain in transit over the weekend will be held until the following shipping week.
Each plant is carefully wrapped in protective brown paper and packed with excelsior wood wool, a biodegradable material made from thin fibers of aspen wood. This eco-friendly packaging helps keep your plants secure during transit while being kind to the environment.
