The ‘Bowles' Variety’ has a more mounding habit than common periwinkle because it spreads outward from the crown. Deeper blue flowers appear in spring and occasionally through the summer on 4-6” tall foliage. Morning sun will produce heavier flowering. Vinca will suppress weeds, grow against trees and shrubs, and compliment spring bulbs. Performs best in fertile, loamy soil. Plant 18" apart.
