This spectacular native is a delight to hummingbirds and quite showy when massed at the woodlands edge. 'Little Redhead' is an excellent uniform selection with the trademark dark red tubular flowers with yellow interiors in late spring to mid-summer. Late to emerge in spring. Prefers consistent moisture and requires well-drained soil. Plant 24" apart. Grows 24-28" tall.
