Deep purple, long-lasting, tubular flowers cover the top half of the compact foliage in late spring to early summer. A light trim after the first flush of flowers will promote a second bloom. At 12” tall, Rock Candy® fits right in at the front of the border or in containers. Native to the mesas and mountains of the Southwestern U.S., P. barbatus prefers well-drained soil and full sun.
