Miscanthus sinensis 'Little Zebra' (Variegated Maiden Grass)

A dwarf selection of zebra grass that has an excellent compact habit with yellow banding that holds up well through the season. It is much more resistant to rust spots than Miscanthus 'Strictus' or 'Zebrinus'. Grows 3-4' tall and in late summer lovely reddish purple plumes emerge, later changing to a creamy tan. Try it with Sedum 'Neon', Aster 'Purple Dome', or Veronica 'Royal Candles'. PP#13008
