NewGen Boxwood offers specimens with a vigorous growth habit, high tolerance of Boxwood Blight, good resistance to Boxwood Leafminer and resistance to other diseases and pests. This strong grower requires a light pruning in late winter to early spring to keep the dense rounded shape. Foliage grows slightly taller than wide and will grow to 3.5’ tall and wide in 15 years and up to 5’ in 25 years. A good substitute for ‘Winter Gem’.
