The bright green spring foliage of this native Pachysandra emerges upright 6-12" and is followed by fragrant, bottlebrush-like white flowers on 2-4" long spikes. Foliage matures to pewter-green with coarsely toothed and mottled leaves, and becomes prostrate as the season progresses. Plant in part to full shade in moist humus-rich soil.
