A wonderful summer bloomer with light lavender-blue flowers and fragrant gray green foliage that is compact at 12-18". English lavender is also grown for its oils that are used in perfumes and the foliage that is used in potpourris and sachets. 'Munstead' was named for Munstead Woods in England where it was grown by British garden designer Gertrude Jekyll.
