Large violet-purple blooms have darker violet veins and a splash of yellow on the falls. The slightly arching sword-shaped leaves create a nice vase shape and add structure to the mixed border. Clumping foliage grows 36” tall. Japanese Iris blooms in late spring to early summer after the German and Siberian Iris have finished.
