This variegated form of sieboldiana 'Elegans' has a center color that changes from yellow in spring to a creamy white by mid-summer. The leaves have wide blue-green margins (becoming green by mid-summer), and heavily corrugated, and resistant to slugs. Its near-white flowers open in mid-June. As one of the largest, center-variegated Hostas ever introduced, it will make an impact in any garden, but it does grow slowly. Mature leaves can be 10" wide by 12" long, and the mound at maturity can be 29" high by 58" wide.
