Dainty white nodding bell-shaped flowers appear in late spring to early summer and are followed by white berries that dangle from the dark green glossy foliage all the way through winter. The fragrant leaves become tinged with red in fall providing an attractive backdrop to the white berries. Grows 5-8” tall. Leaves of native wintergreen have a mint aroma when crushed.
