When will my credit card be billed?   Credit cards are billed at time of shipment.

What if the items on my order are shipped at different times?  Will I be charged more than once for shipping?  Your order may be boxed in more than one shipping carton. Shipping charges will apply to the whole order.

I ordered plants last month and I ordered more of the same this month but the prices have changed. Why?   Prices and delivery charges are occasionally adjusted in accordance with the season. 

Will I have to pay sales tax?   Sales tax is charged on orders delivered within the State of Maryland. As changes in internet laws regarding sales transaction occur, we may adjust taxes for other states.

Can I return my plants?   We are sorry but we can not accept any returns.

Can I cancel my order?   You may cancel your order prior to 2pm on the Tuesday immediately following your order placement.

I need help.  How can I contact a representative?   For questions about or problems with your order please email us at or call 1-888-987-5044. A representative will be able to assist you between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Saturday.  If we are backlogged with phone calls, please email us for a quicker response.  When you email or call please have your order number ready as a reference.

Do you share my personal information?   We respect the privacy of each customer who purchases products from the Perennial Marketplace web site.  We do not share or sell your e-mail address to outside companies or agencies.

Do you save my personal information?   We save personal information such as name, address, e-mail address and credit card information only as long as it is necessary to process orders.

Are payment transactions secure?   Credit card information used during the process of placing orders on the Perennial Marketplace web site is protected by our secure network.

How are my plants shipped?   We ship our plants in brown shipping boxes, each plant is packaged securly with packaging material top ensure a safe delivery. 

What will be the condition of my plants when they arrive?   Each plant will be well rooted out to the edge of the pot, each plant will have seasonally appropriate foliage and will be healthy and ready to plant. Occasionally, we may be required to trim foliage for packing purposes.

How do I plant and care for my plants?    Planting and care instructions will be sent with each order.     

How will my plants be shipped?   Orders are shipped via UPS, which requires a street address for delivery.  Please check that you have typed in the correct address and ZIP code.

When will my plants be shipped?   Generally, your plants will ship within 3-5 days, with temperatures determining when it is safe to ship. We ship on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays. Depending on when you place your order it will go out on one of those days. We ship 12 months a year with limited delivery between November 1st and April 1st.  During the winter months we ship only hardened off & dormant perennials.

Are there places that you CANNOT ship to?  Yes.  Agricultural regulations restrict our shipment of plants to the following Unites States & U.S. Territory: Arizona, Alaska, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington State, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. 

We do not ship outside of the United States.
