The lilac-pink flowers of this native cultivar are a bit pinker and appear earlier in spring than the species. 20” tall foliage has deeply dissected leaves and prefers moist, well-drained soil, and will tolerate full sun if kept moist. Plants may go dormant in summer so group with native Carex, ferns and late season perennials such as Asters.
