Cutleaf Bleeding Heart

Myriads of heart-shaped rose-pink flowers stand 2–4" above fern-like foliage, start in May and continue well into the fall on this native plant. Effective by itself or in mixed plantings, it reaches 12–18" in height and does well in shade or sun. In the shady garden try it with Astilbe, Pulmonaria, blue or green leaved Hostas, and ferns.
